       Photography has always been part of my life. A few years ago I participated in a course shooting the landscape in and around Santa Fe, New Mexico. This impactful experience resulted in my passing interest evolving into a passion. I became thoroughly engaged and realized the camera gave me a way to express my creativity.

The natural landscape is the predominant theme of my work. The camera allows me to leave my preconceived notions of the world around me and be in the presence of what nature intended. The lens uncovers the complicated relationship between man and the environment. This ever shifting relationship moves in and out of balance, sometimes with dramatic unintended consequences. The result of this, to me, is one of the major dilemmas of our contemporary world.
